There is a Visit your puppy if possible, never respond to requests for Western Union, Moneygram or money orders for payment, and ask for their Veterinarian reference. Ask for a short video of the puppy, or a picture with the puppy and a paper. It’s a good idea to avoid dogs with high adoption fees. The phone number should be from the correct area.

What Is Animal Cruelty?
The definition of animal abuse is hurting the animal by any means possible.
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals recognizes animal abuse through a number of physical signs.
There is a Unnatural thinness of the dog, in which the bones may be exposed, and wounds that are open and aren’t healing anytime. A neck wound that may be caused by an extremely tight collar is soon. There is an inability to stand or walk due to a leg. It’s a skin condition that can cause a rash.
There are issues for chained dogs that cannot escape the cruel hands of their owner or breeder who abuses them day by day. Dogs that are chained may experience pain.
Getting tortured in any way. It is possible to get injured in a severe way if you are used for an experiment by laboratories. Maybe fall victim to the dog meat trade.
Low breeding standards should not be confused with animal abuse as unethical breeding has to do with quality.
What Are Low Breeding Standards?
Low breeding standards are defined differently from animal abuse, as it means having a poor rating for being a dog breeder because of various actions or lack of them.
Not screening breeding dogs for common health concerns, breeding dogs too often or too many times, keeping too many dogs in one shelter, not giving the dog enough attention, and so on.
The puppies or dogs must be registered with a governing organization in your country. If you judge them to be failing, you can report them to such organizations.
Some dog breeders will be allowed to ignore the animal abuse law because they are not hurting the dogs. It doesn’t mean you can’t do anything because a dog breeder only shows poor animal welfare practices. It doesn’t mean you can’t prosecute them. If a dog breeder is honest and responsible, he will give you all of the health records and show you the living conditions. Dogs are often hidden from the public because of their living conditions.
