Pitbull and Bully Evolution
The first registry to recognize the American Pit Bull Terrier as a clear breed was in 1898, when most people were still riding horses. In my opinion, our way of travel has evolved so that you no longer see your friends going to the grocery store by riding a horse and our pitbulls have evolved from the original definition of an American Pit Bull Terrier. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a medium-sized, solidly built, short-coated dog with smooth, well-defined musculature. This breed is powerful and athletic. These dogs are powerful and athletic, but not as large as a medium-sized dog. These dogs have changed a lot over the past 25 years because of breeders selecting the characteristics they want to have by mixing other breeds into the genetics. The evolution of the XL Pitbulls has been sped up by mixing other breeds into your original APBT. If you cross pitbulls with other big dog breeds like mastiffs and bulldogs, you can go clear up to 200 lbs. The members of the pitbull family that have reached weights and size are the result of these breedings. No previous pitbull advocate. It would be possible. The creators of the orgianl APBT wanted a bigger bully breed than the one that has evolved.
How Much Does a Hulk Puppy Cost?
I bet you have seen the world’s largest Pit Bull. He is 175 pounds and remarkable. What do those features cost? It will cost you about $5,000 to get a puppy from the breeder.
If you want to use the seed for impregnation it will cost $20,000. It is estimated that the cost of his next litter is $500,000.
What about the cost to the dogs? How do you calculate the ethical cost of breeding dogs with health problems for the sake of his looks? These dogs are sacrificing their health and well being. The toll on owners of dogs with chronic health issues can be devastating.
There was no proof of health testing at the kennel. I could not find any credentials for dog training. That could be due to this statement.
There are no known standards when you are trying to produce a new line. His breeder admits that they are breeding just for size. Multiple health problems are increased by this sort of breeding.
Why Do We Celebrate Extreme Dog Breeding?
Why are we so fascinated by big heads? Why do we look at photos of dogs with different looks? That looks very tough. What is it about bowed legs? Is being less flexible a good trait to pass on?
Are we interested in them because they look different? Is it because they are different? Are we already bored with the hundreds of breeds of dogs we already have, not to mention all of the doodles and mutts out there?
What has happened to the bulldog over the past 100 years? They used to be known for being a great athlete, now they’re known for being too skinny. They can’t breed or birth on their own anymore, but that hasn’t stopped their popularity from rising. They were the 5th most popular breed, up from 16th in 2003
Breeding Dogs for Extremes is Unethical
I am against unethical breeding practices. The people that practice irresponsible breeding are the ones that give breeders a bad name.
Dog breeders choose dogs with extreme physical features. . Well being and the health of their future litters are not considered. The ability to manipulate natural selection comes with a heavy ethical responsibility. We need to keep the health of the dogs in mind.
Working dogs should be bred for their ability to perform, not their skull. It all comes down to profit for these extreme breeders. How much do you want for a dog? It’s a lot more than just your normal looking one.
It is ironic that people are willing to spend so much money on a breed that makes up a third of the dog population in our nation’s shelters.
There are more than one type of pit bull.
