There are different reasons why dogs bark at night. There are a number of reasons why dogs may bark at night.

New Puppy Dog Barking At Night

New puppies are special. A baby dog is barking at night. They may be very homesick for the first few days and nights. Homesickness is a part of the puzzle. You have to interrupt the barking behavior.

Is it possible for a dog to bark in the early morning? We all have different definitions of a reasonable time for our dogs to get up. It depends on how much sleep you need and when you want to go to bed. It’s on your normal daily routine.

If the dog likes to get up when you leave early, you won’t mind. Remaining quiet after 6:30 am is a reasonable wake up time for my Labs. In my book, anything before that is night-time. You could set your alarm clock a bit later if you like burning midnight oil.

Some dogs can last long enough for you to get half a decent sleep. At four or five months old, it’s around seven hours.

Stopping a Baby Dog Barking At Night

A few days of your company at night can help a new puppy adjust to his new home. The puppy can be moved out of the bedroom once everything stops being strange. This is done in stages. For example:
